About Me

My name is Will Jenkins and I am a freelance graphic designer. Graphic design is a passion of mine that I have been able to explore, build my strengths in, and make into a career. My passion for graphic design stems from my passion for the arts, whether it be digital arts, studio arts, the study of the arts, or writing. I pride myself on putting effort into understand art and its aspects so that the history, research, and thoughts behind my art can show through the page.

What are my thoughts on graphic design? Graphic design is an art form like every other, with the added benefit of being seen by thousands of people a day every day. Because of this, I see graphic design as a way to communicate and convey meanings to a larger audience. If I can design a universally understood icon or image, then what is stopping me from showing my ideas to the world. I also see graphic design as a way to create yourself and others through a digital lens. Creating a personal brand is a necessity for designers, companies, small businesses, etc. That is why I want to focus on branding, to help build a brand that attracts customers and an audience, but that also builds a relationship with them, which ultimately leads to a trustworthy bond between business and consumer.
